Description
A vivid green emerald-cut gemstone with the deep, slightly bluish-green saturation that collectors chase. Held to the light it shows excellent transparency and a smooth, glassy lustre across cleanly cut step facets. Most likely tsavorite garnet, the brilliant green grossular found in the Tsavo region of East Africa, though fine emerald is also possible. A jewellery-ready centre stone of this colour is uncommon and would anchor a halo ring or a refined solitaire. Tentative identification pending certification.
