Description

An exceptional faceted Malaya garnet of approximately 11 carats, glowing in the warm reddish-orange that has made East African material so sought after. Malaya garnet is a natural blend of spessartite and pyrope, prized because it has never been heated or treated. Under daylight the stone leans toward a soft peach-orange, shifting to a deeper rose under warm light, with the lively dispersion garnet is loved for. Eye-clean with bright return of light across the table. A piece of this size is genuinely rare and would make a remarkable centre stone for a ring or pendant.
