Description
A small lot of blue rough crystals with strong, saturated colour for their size, most likely blue sapphire. Sapphire’s hardness, second only to diamond, makes it the most practical of coloured stones for everyday rings, and rough of good colour is the starting point for a fine cut stone. A promising parcel for a cutter or collector. Tentative identification pending certification.
