A lot of vivid orange rough with the fiery, almost neon glow that marks fine spessartite, or mandarin, garnet. The pieces are gemmy and translucent, several clearly worth faceting, and the colour is the warm pure orange that commands a premium in cut stones. A rewarding parcel for a cutter or collector.
